ATP Halle 2019: Roger Federer, primul pe tabloul unuia din turneele preferate.

Unul din cele două turnee ATP 500 Series ale săptămânii viitoare este “NOVENTI Open”, care se dispută pe iarbă, la Halle şi este dotat cu premii în valoare de 2.081.830 € şi cu o contribuţie financiară totală în valoare de 2.219.150 €.

După ce între 1993 şi 2008, Halle Open a avut ca sponsor firma de îmbrăcăminte Gerry Weber, anul acesta din cauza insolvenţei acesteia, sponsor a devenit firma ce activează în domeniul serviciilor de sănătate, NOVENTI.

Aceasta este a 27-a ediţie a turneului, care începând cu 2015 este de categoria 500 Series. Lista finalelor, la sfârşitul ştirii, cu Florina Mergea / Rohan Bopanna, vicecampioni în 2015.

Roger Federer a câştigat aici cele mai multe titluri – la egalitate cu Basel – 9: 2003-2006, 2008, 2013-2015, 2017. El a mai jucat finalele din 2010, 2012 şi 2018. 

Roger este prezent la actuala ediţie – cap de serie 1 – la fel şi deţinătorul titlului, Borna Coric – cap de serie 4 – dar şi campionii din proba de dublu: Lukasz Kubot / Marcelo Melo, capi de serie 1.

În proba de dublu, Jean-Julien Rojer joacă din nou fără Horia Tecău, acum cu Matteo Berrettini.
